1009: Streams not working, but Gamespot interns confirmed attractive.
1017: Still thumb twiddling.
1022: Oh shit, SAINTS ROW IV The silliest game in the world. You play as the freakin' president of the United States. But your press briefing gets dropped in by some alien monkey bro with spikes.
1025: New weapons, of course. DUBSTEP GUN WUBWUBWUB, inflatoray and other classics.
1026: The game looks like it's definitely using the same old engine.
1027: The aliens are putting you and your cabinet into their own private nightmare simulations, so we're allowed to be even sillier than usual.
1028: Other than the Zin, we're getting a cameo of the Vice Kings from SR1.
1029: Everything is 2-player coop. Some activities are back. Death-tag, cat and mouse (from SR3) with super-powers instead vehicles.
1030: Whored Mode is not coming back.
1032: Steelport is about the same size as the SRIII, but there's more utilization of vertical space now that you don't need a damn plane/jet/hoverbike to touch the sky.
1035: AoE fire buff that burns people around you and turns your bullets to incendiary rounds. Standard, but in line with SRIV becoming more super-powery.
1036: You can customize weapons with weapon costumes.
1037: PROFESSOR GENKI CONFIRMED.
1037: PS3, 360 and PC in August!

1047: FIFA 14
1552: Umm, well, they're just doing show-floor stuff. No sign of FIFA yet.
1154: I think we're skipping this game. They mentioned Fantasia: Music Evolved is next.
1159: Or not. FIFA's up.
1100: Anticipational awareness in the engine. Animations change as other players come to interact with them for added realism.
1103: This game looks gorgeous on the XBone.
1104: More heading animations.
1105: Finesse heading included, so you can perform glancing headers by tapping.
1106: Players will not come in contact with a pass unless it needs to be controlled. For example, if there's an uncontested pass, the recipient will not slow the ball down by coming in contact with it.
1110: Chest bumping is not longer just a trap. You can flick the trigger to keep it in the air. Improved physics on the ball.
1112: Info on leagues will be released later.
1113: Info on career mode and other non-gameplay things are being postponed.
1114: More physics engine talk.

1115: Fantasia: Music Evolved. Yay, Harmonix game!
1116: Not a direct-film port of the game.
1117: What, Bohemian Rhapsody is in this game. How can you not want it.
1118: Hand swipes primarily deal with this game. You can change the flavor of the song at certain junctures. Classical violin overlay for this demo.
1120: Lots of particle effects. Pretty as heck. This game really captures the essence of a fun casual music game.
1121: On 360 AND XboxOne.
1122: It kind of reminds me of OSU using the Kinect.
1123: JAZZ CLAMS. Just wave your hands and bam, tons of silly music.
1124: At least two remixes per song available to branch to in game.
1126: How many songs confirmed? Over 25 confirmed.
1127: Music manipulator's. You can draw a melody and then it'll come back as a solo.
1131: As you finish songs, you go to small areas and unlock little musical bits that you bring back into the lobby. Musical trophy case.
1131: Think frogs in Ocarina of time.
1133: Coming out in 2014. DLC maybe.

1135: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
1136: Vikings vs. Donkey Kong.
1137: Underwater levels confirmed.
1339: Ground plucking ability. Maybe turnips? C'mon Nintenbro.
1139: Local coop confirmed, woot. Dixie Kong may be playable but isn't in the E3 demo.
1140: Dynamic camera angles included. Mine carts are back!
1141: One more character will be confirmed eventually.
1142: You can pick up enemies and throw them.
1143: Naturally, expect snow in the future.
1443: This coming Saturday, they will be demoing the game at select Best Buys.
1145: Hinting that you can't do a 100% in one run because some sidekicks can't reach them.

1148: Tales of Xillia
1149: 15th anniversary of the Tales of series.
1150: Dual Raid Linear Motion Battle System. Okay. Four active characters in battle. You can link one character to fight with you. You basically control one character and then pick out of three assists.
1152: You can control any character and swap, ala Tales of Symphonia.
1153: New game+? No idea, but you can choose between two of the main characters to see their story through their eyes, so at least two playthroughs.
1156: Local coop battles!
1157: August 6, 2013, PS3 only. Tales of Symphonia Chronicles is coming out on the side.

1201: Murdered: Soul Suspect
1202: A story that starts out with a dead protagonist, hah.
1203: Detective game where you're a ghost. Investigation through the ghosty perspective. Hearing inside heads, restoring memories, passing through objects.
1204: The Dusk is this limbo realm that's there because of human suffering. Basically leaves prints in this space to interact with. Sort of free clues, basically.
1205: Blue outlined structures are part of The Dusk, which only the protagonist can see and experience.
1206: The character cannot actually lift physical objects.
1207: RPG-esque clue trees. You pick out of a cluster of words to discern what to look for. When you possess people, you actually see through their actual point of view.
1208: Point of conflict is that The Dusk drives ghosts crazy and turns them into monsters after sticking around too long in it, so there will be enemy ghosts.
1210: Game is set in a fictionalized Salem. Supernatural backround, whee.
1211: Main quests and side quests included to flesh out the city.
1212: In combat, you don't head-to-head as much. You sneak around and possess your enemies to blow them for a more passive experience.
1214: One of the mechanics is that you don't directly control humans when you possess them. To avoid enemies, you can possess people and cloak yourself within them as they walk along paths.
1217: Early 2014, 360 PS3 and PC.

1223: Halo: Spartan Assault. Oh humbug, W8 app.
1224: Top down action shooter.
1225: More talk about the generalities of the game. As it stands, it's still a top down inspired by it. Mouse and keyboard supported.
1332: Some vehicles too. Whee. Sorry for the lack of plugging. It's Robotron with Halo stuff.

1243: Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn1244: The original launch was a absolute fucking mess.
1245: New graphics engine, new server structure, new world.
1246: Not a full wipe, however. Some stuff carries over.
1246: Crafting is, in theory, not random number generator based.
1247: What's the subscription model? It's not free-to-play. Different tiers of purchases.
1247: Each weapon changes your class.
1248: Combat has been completely revamped. More reactive.
1249: UI is no longer server side, yay!
1250: 8.27.2013 PC/PS3 and 2014 PS4.
1251: Limit breaks, materia, crystal tower from FF3, magiteck armor from FF6. This is going to be a delicious fan-service introduction. We might have a Golden Saucer-like!
1252: Phase 3 of beta starts tomorrow.

1300: Tekken Revolution
1301: Lars, Kazuya, Asuka, Paul, Lili, King, Jack-6, Law are playable.
1302: Exclusive to PS3. Why? Tekken grew up on the PS3 brand.  It's basically an arcade brawler with stat allocation. No confirmation for PS4, but they want to try it.
1305: Free to play Tekken, probably to get people interested in the game. Since it's an online game, they can release more content more easily in theory.
1306: It is basically Tekken though. You punch, kick and juggle incessantly, haha.
1307: In a way, this game is in open beta. They're still talking about developing more based on feedback.
1308: Bound moves have been removed for Revolution, so we'll see how this'll work.
1312: More accessibility options: top 5 moves in command list. (That's it? @_@)
1314: Leo is in the demo roster though, hmm. 9 characters?
1315: This game's business model choice is based off of how accessible arcades are, but since they're dying in the west, they're taking into account what has been going on over here with F2P games, so they decided to give it a whirl.
1316: It's free, why not.

1320: Oddworld: Abe's Oddesey New 'n' Tasty
1321: Oddworld doesn't have load times in this version :D No split screens, it's scrolling.
1323: You can't reset puzzles like the old way because of said scrolling, but they have something to compensate.
1324: Talking about old Abe and how back in the day, you didn't have as much customer interaction.
1325: They heard the feedback: Same game, more bells and whistles!
1326: Old fans, rejoice!
1328: No seriously, rejoice. These guys are for you. Also, they changed the movement from trigger-move to just using the left analog stick. WHEE!
1330: They're just talking about the industry right now, how it transitioned from dog-eat-dog to a lower cost model.

1342: Lego Marvel Super Heroes
1343: Tons of marvel characters underneath SHIELD and Nick.
1344: Haha, Wolverine gets hit and he becomes stripped down to his adamantium skeleton. Nice attention to detail.
1345: Each character has a gimmick based off their power. For example, spidey sense actually reveals stuff. Human Torch throws burny-stuff and flies. The game roster includes  wellover 100 playable characters.
1346: Drop in drop out multiplayer, of course!
1347: Deadpool is in this game!
1349: Shield helicarrier. woot.
1351: The demo does to Asgard. New York mentioned. Oh crap, is that Venom?
1352: Freeplay allows you to take every character you've acquired to go back and explore the level. A lot of the game involves finding stuff retroactively with different power sets, ala Zelda.
1353: Hulk CAN transform back to Bruce, haha, and it's actually part of the game mechanics.
1355: Magneto confirmed!
1357: Confirmed to be everyone vs Galactus, haha.
1358: PS3, Wii U, PC, 360 October. PS4 XB1 when they come out.

1403: Dark Souls II (Spoiler: You will die)
1404: Naturally, this is the next game in the series where people die by the crapton. Dual wielding system is go.
1405: Dual wielding staffs too!
1406: Temple knight class. Tanking, poking, drinking pots. Kind of a paladin type class.
1409: Character customization is in theory the same as Dark Souls.
1410: Last class is the warrior knight. Balanced and orthodox with range and melee attacks.
1411: Talking about enemies. Talking about how they develop how these monsters will kill you, then go to the concepts.
1413: Developers wanted to increase the explore-ability. You can bonfire warp at the beginning of the game as long as they are lit.
1416: New interactive aspects? Damn you vague Japanese developers!
1422 STREAM DOWN MAY DAY MAY DAY

1439: Sonic:Lost Worlds
1440: So apparently, nobody likes sonic being an out of control speed demon so they have given you the ability to be slow as shit.
1441: Weird cylindrical levels.
1442: "Parkour system" Sticky corners.
1443: Super sonic remains a secret.
1444: Interesting forward/back map progression. The game itself will apparently have faster levels, but overall, they seem a little toned down compared to generations.
1446: Pancakes confirmed. Ohhhhboy.
1447: This game is basically more of a standard platformer instead of a the typical Sonic speed game.
1448: The idea behind it is that you build up speed like in the classic games, and that this pace is controlled by the player as opposed to forcing it on the player.
1449: Two player competitive mode confirmed.
1450: Showing a fast level. Still isn't as fast as Generations' average speed. :\
1452: Wii U and 3DS version are different. Connecting plots though.
1454: Out this holiday season.

1456: Defiance. MMO is out right now. Box + sub.
1457: Has a concurrent show on SyFy. The MMO has events based off of the show. 3rd person MMOFPS.
1458: Typical MMO stuff included. Public quests, PvP, class customization.
1458: New race DLC is coming out soon. (It's really more of a content update.)
1459: 5 DLCs between season 1 and season 2. Dueling is added. Battle arenas being added, which is like a survival vs monster waves.
1501: Good thing is that between the game and the show is that they follow a joint venture model instead of a license model, so both ventures have freedom without as much red tape.
1506: Killin' bosses. Game looks great on their demo rig, of course.
1508: No trial, but it is out for PC, PS3 and 360.

1510: Magrunner: Dark Pulse
1512: FPS Puzzle game. Reminds me a fuckton of portal, except without the portal gimmick.
1513: Haha, holographs out of the gun to brief you on story.
1515: You turn tons of things on off to manipulate the environment.
1516: Gravity-gun(glove) puzzles. It really does seem like portal without portals, but they do a good job of having more complex puzzles.
1518: Most of the puzzles use the power of magnets, oh. That actually flew over my head.
1519: You can get pints to drag to other points by gluing a positive or negative node on any surface.
1521: There is going to be combat in this game, but there will be running-the-fuck away from stuff as well.
1524: Not sure if the game is mediocre or is just really hard to demo because of how passive it is at the start.

1526: Dying Light. Parkour zombie survival game.
1528: 4 player coop, day/night cycles, obvious parkour. Whee!
1529: Zombies get more aggro when night falls.
1530: Lots of talking about the game, but gameplay is really necessary to differentiate between this and, say, Dead Rising or other survival games.
1532: The ability to transverse the a majority of everything with climbing is at the engine. They're talking about how they might not have completely solid buildings. (You can explore on the insides.)
1533: The developers are trying to distance themselves from Mirror's Edge.
1534: Their philosophy is that the parkour is and ends to a means as opposed to merely being flash.

1540: Dragon's Crown The One game with a MILLION DOUJINS!
1541: No crossplay, but 4 player coop online and local.
1542: It's pretty much your standard Dungeons and Dragons's side-scrolling beat-em-up.
1543: AI can add to your party to get up to four players.
1544: Six characters: Dwarf, sorceress, fighter, amazon, elf and wizard. Sorceress is more CC while wizard is direct damage.
1548: There are incentive to do well is tracked through experience. Everything contributes to more XP like perfecting bosses, not getting hit, etc. At the end of each mission, you can sell or identify look that you've acquired after beating a level.
1549: You can buy and expand your skill lists in town, so it's pretty much a full-fledged RPG in the background in terms of character development.
1550: There are also quests, yay!
1551: August 6 2013, PS3 and Vita release.
1553: Devs say play through would be 10-15 hours, but there's different difficulties and end-game.
1554: Enemies scale to party size and party level.
1555: Fighter's risk-reward mechanic is that he drops his sword and he can't pick it up later. Elf has a limited number of arrows.
1557: August cannot come fast enough @_@/

1604: The Walking Dead: 400 Days
1606: A non-linear, episodic Walking Dead game!
1607: The game centers around a gas station for the most part, telling the narrative almost from the perspective of a location as opposed characters. You can play the chapters in ANY ORDER you want.
1609: Bridges the gap between season one and season two, and some of the decisions you make from season one will actually go into 400 days, and 400 days decisions will go into season 2.
1610: 15-20 minute stories each.
1611: Core game components include good dialogue, good dialogue and more good dialogue.
1612: Talking about emotional things and why this game extracts your feels on a regular basis.
1616: Aiming for July release 360, PS3, PSN, iOS, PC. Bundle on the PS Vita. 400 days + all season 1 + bonus content on Vita for August.

1623: Transistor
1624: Made by the guys who made Bastion. (If you haven't played it, it's basically Secret of Mana/Legend of Mana/Zelda everything good on crack.)
1625: A singer stumbles upon a dead guy with a sword. The sword sort of is a person. It talks in a sexy, dry and husky voice. Great particle effects. Looks powerful right off of the bat.
1626: You have a sort of VATS like system where you can plan your engagement in paused time.
1627: And sadly, the first crash of E3 just happened.
1628: Action RPG that can become a sort of turn-based RPG and vise versa.
1630: Multiple viewing angles.
1631: Bar on the top shows when you can use the turn-based view where you can queue actions. You have to plan though, because monsters move in real time.
1632: Narrator perspective is different than it was in Bastion. Red, also, is literally a silent protagonist. She doesn't have a voice.
1636: This game is gorgeous on so many levels. The SuperGiant narrative storyline, the clean painted look, the animation quality and smoothness.
1638: Everybody who was working on Bastion is on the team, plus a couple more people.
1640: Launches on PS4 and PC early 2014.

And that's a wrap! Tune in at 8 for our big, actually-a-freaking-big-deal wrap up show at 8 PM. We'll post links to the livestream AND Twitch.
